Town Marshal Brad Fisher - Lynn Police Department - Indiana

Town Marshal Brad Fisher - Lynn Police Department - Indiana

On 7/29/26, the Lynn Police Department (Indiana) lost their town marshal in the line of duty. Town Marshal Brad Fisher was stuck and killed by a fleeing vehicle while he was deploying stop sticks in a high-speed chase in eastern Indiana.

A Randolph County deputy identified a reported known stolen vehicle. The occupant of the vehicle reportedly had multiple felony warrants. The vehicle had initially pulled over, but the driver took off during a high risk felony stop, leading to a pursuit through the county, which ended on U.S. 36 eastbound towards Lynn.

Bradley Fisher, the town marshal of Lynn, deployed stop sticks to assist in stopping the pursuit, but while doing so, the vehicle struck Fisher. The driver then lost control and struck a dump truck.

Bradley Fisher was also the captain of the fire department and was a dedicated servant of more than 27 years for community. His son is a deputy for nearby Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.  Our prayers and condolences to Brad Fisher's family both at home as well as with the community he served.
